Effective date: 16 October 2026. This policy describes the AstralMp3 Android app (package com.astralmp3.app). The developer responsible for the app is Enrique Eduardo Gallardo Queizan, using the Google Play developer name Astralmotors. Contact: support@astralchartfactory.com.
Processing on your device
AstralMp3 converts downloaded audio to MP3 on your device. We do not operate a conversion server for the app. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not upload your tracks, history or cookies to a developer-operated server.
Connections to media services
When you analyze a link or download media, the app connects to the media service and the servers it uses to deliver the requested content. Those servers receive the network requests, your IP address and technical connection information. Requested links, media identifiers and any applicable authentication cookies are transmitted as needed to access that service. Metadata and artwork may be downloaded from those services. Their own privacy policies and terms apply to their processing.
Optional session cookies
You can import your own Netscape-format cookies.txt file through Android's file picker. These cookies can provide access to your media-service account. Import only your own file and keep it confidential. The imported copy is stored in the app's private storage and is used with matching media-service domains; it is not sent to our support address or a developer-operated server. Use Session settings → Clear session to remove the app's imported copy. Your original selected file remains where you stored it.
Local storage and retention
The app stores settings, recent analysis, conversion status, track history and its library copies in private app storage. Temporary media is used while converting. Exported MP3 files are saved to Music/AstralMp3 or the folder you explicitly select. Removing a track from the app's library removes the app's copy; exported copies remain separate. Clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove its private files. Exported files remain until you delete them through your file manager or music app. Android backup is disabled for the app.
Permissions, clipboard and sharing
Internet access is used to access the media you request. A foreground service and optional notifications show conversion progress. The Android folder picker lets you grant access to an output folder. The app reads clipboard text when you choose Paste and can receive a link you share from another app. When you choose Share on a completed track, Android sends that track to the app or recipient you select; their privacy practices then apply.
Google Play
Google Play may separately process purchases, distribution, licensing, security and app-signing information under its own terms and Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details through the app.
Support
If you contact support, your email provider sends the information you choose to include to our support mailbox. Do not send session cookies, passwords or private media. We use support messages to respond to the request and retain them only as needed for support and applicable obligations.
Your choices and rights
Optional session import, artwork, the output folder and sharing are under your control. You can clear an imported session, remove library copies, clear Android app storage and delete exported files separately. If applicable data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal information held by us, or to object to its use or request portability, contact the support email above. We process support requests to provide the requested service and for our legitimate interest in resolving issues, subject to applicable law. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. Requests concerning information held independently by a media service or Google should be addressed to that provider.
Adult audience
AstralMp3 is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Updates
We will update this policy if the app's data practices change and revise the effective date above.
